Completes reports related to compliance with Illinois Community College Board guidelines and fidelity to college standards for all dual credit, dual enrollment, and articulation initiatives with secondary institutions.This may include community events with an emphasis on the completion of FAFSA forms. Converts dual enrollment and dual credit students into full and part-time students, through enrollment events.This position will be responsible for driving enrollments at the college and helping it to hit its enrollment goals. Coordinates with the Office of Instruction and Student Services to enroll interested students in early college programs. ![]() This will include establishing on and off site testing procedures for the placement exams, and procedures for accessing testing information for enrollment purposes. This will involve coordinating class and student assignments and working with appropriate high schools to ensure that students are accurately informed and placed. ![]() This position will provide support at the college level to increase high school students’ participation and success in Dual Credit and Dual Enrollment programs. Malcolm X College is currently seeking two Coordinators for our Early College Program. This is a two-year, $3 million initiative (ending August 2023). Through enhancing simulation and Interprofessional Education experiences, implementing virtual lab-based experiences, strengthening developmental education, enhancing virtual learning through new technology and home-based learning supports, and providing professional development, MXC seeks to elevate instruction and learning in remote environments. MXC’s initiative, “Maximizing On-site and Virtual Experiences at Malcolm X College (MOVE at MXC),” is designed to help the institution emerge from the Coronavirus pandemic more resilient while expanding educational opportunities for students. Malcolm X College (MXC) was awarded a two-year grant from the Department of Education through its Institutional Resilience and Expanded Postsecondary Opportunity (IREPO) program.
